You can change your body enough in a month to completely reverse that attitude. I just did this 3 months ago and lost 10 lbs just from walking a bunch every day. That's enough to see in the mirror and it made me motivated enough to join a gym and start going 3-4 times a week and now my friends and family are starting to notice that I look better and compliment me on it regularly.
It feels really really good and it's something you can enjoy without having to wait that long. I hope this gets through to you. At 22 you can make huge changes and enjoy most of your 20s as someone who's strong and fit. Please do that anon, you owe it to yourself.
